Icareus Playout® PC100 Compact is the perfect solution for broadcasters, systems integrators, academic institutions and practically anybody who needs a complete broadcasting solution for MHP/DVB dataservice testing and development.
Icareus Playout PC100 Compact provides all the basic functionality needed for managing and broadcasting MHP / OCAP (tru2way) / Ginga / MHEG-5 / ETV-EBIF based content. It consists of an object carousel generator, a PSI/SI generator, a scheduler and a transport stream multiplexer. Pre-recorded TS/PS audio/video streams are a standard option. Additionally, an optional real-time video encoder can be used for broadcasting live content.
The core of the Icareus Playout PC100 Compact is made entirely in software using open standards. The system runs on any standard PC and the only additional hardware required is an ASI or modulator output card included in the package. (DVB-T, DVB-S, DVB-C, ATSC, VSB, QAM)
