Icareus LaserText is a powerful yet user-friendly tool for subtitling standard 35 mm film prints. You can use it to cue in and edit timecodes for traditional film subtitles created with the program editor or using any word processor.
Attached to an editing table, Icareus LaserText automatically monitors a film reel's running timecode through the table's own TC generator or our proprietary TC Reader. It can optionally even be used to control the laser or acid etching process at the hardware end.
Icareus LaserText supports several subtitle and engraving save file formats. Moreover, it supports a wide variety of features not traditionally associated with film print subtitling, yet usually supported by modern engraving machinery.
