PSI/SI GENERATOR FOR OPERATORS AND BROADCASTERS

Icareus Playout EPG Server is used to broadcast the TV program information and to generate the
necessary service information. It generates all the SI data necessary for generating complete DVB services.

The Icareus Playout EPG (PSI/SI) server generates all the necessary PSI/SI tables and sends them to an internal multiplexer and on to the selected output device.

The Icareus Playout system consists of two modules: the server (Playout Server) and a client (Playout
Management Console - PMC). PMC interacts with the Playout Server using a TCP/IP based network protocol. Any number of clients can connect to a Playout Server and a single PMC installation can be used for controlling multiple Playout Servers.

Icareus EPG server is targeted for network operators.

Output over IP or DVB-ASI
User rights management
User-friendly drag-and-drop management console
Update Notification Table (UNT). This table is generated only on the Playout SSU Server.
