Icareus Technologies has delivered its iTV Suite Manager for OTT to Fintoto, the national horse betting organization of Finland, for its TotoTV network.
Utilizing the platform Fintoto offers and manages an extensive online video experience to their customers including over 30000 VOD clips and up to 4 daily live broadcasts from horse tracks. The flexibility of iTV Suite enabled the integration to Fintoto’s information databases to create on up-to date and versatile trotting experience for viewers in Finland, Sweden and Russia.
Fintoto provides the TotoTV service both as free-of-charge and with micro payment business models. The video archive is always free, but Live races are either charged with minimal 1 € / day or free-of-charge model depending on days, races and on-going campaigns.
For the video delivery, Fintoto uses the progressive download service from Digita (www.digita.fi), which is a part of the TDF Group (www.tdf-group.com).
